Se7en is another 90’s classic, showcasing the story of a detective, David Mills, played by Brad Pitt, and his partner William, played by Morgan Freeman. As in Fight Club, David Fincher is the director, and Brad Pitt the main character. This combination resulted in another timeless piece of cinema.

Regardless of the darker themes the movie is touching, it was a total blockbuster. Back in 1995, both the critics and the viewers loved it.

Shutter Island

Undoubtedly, one of the best thrillers in the history, Shutter Island manages to touch some philosophical themes in its over two hours of run time. The partnership between Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio always has great results. Shutter Island is no different.

After unfolding the plot of the movie, which is quite unexpected, one question arises for the main character. What’s the better option? Living as a monster, or dying as a good man? Although DiCaprio’s character recovered mentally, he decides to surrender, preventing any other outbreaks.
